AN ACCESSIBLE BEAUTY COLLABORATION WITH A PERSONAL TWIST

Role: Lead Creative for the Project, Developing the Concept and Collaborating with Miss Fame to Illustrate the Key Visual.

Following rave reviews of the Glowdown content series, content where drag queens compete with beauty influencers , Sleek MakeUp contacted us to facilitate a collaboration with the world-famous drag queen, Miss Fame. The queen was tasked with selecting a host of products to place within a collectible set while we worked to create and seed it throughout the beauty community.

With the knowledge that Fame had an illustrative streak, we were able to convince her to draw up a custom illustration for the front of the set, making it more desirable and circumventing the fact that she didn’t formulate any new products – a hurdle known to plague beauty partnerships.

“As a brand with diversity rooted at its core, Sleek Makeup is made for all makeup lovers out there. When creating the collection, my goal was to select some of their most-loved products that can be used to create a striking look that is accessible for everyone.”

The set was sold on Ulta.com and Fame herself filmed a tutorial using the products.
